At the moment, the SCA Ordinary and Armorial Database Search Engine is available only for 32-bit Windows (Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2K/XP). There are also older OS/2 Warp, 16-bit Windows and MS-DOS versions, but due to the obviously limited audience for them, they are not provided here. If you're interested in any of them, please email me.
If there are any Macintosh, X-Windows or BeOS programmers out there who would like to port the code to their particular platforms, please contact me. The core routines are fairly portable; so far, the core code compiles under Windows, DOS, OS/2 and Linux -- all that needs to be rewritten is the GUI code (and probably the Help files).
Please note: you will also need to download the most recent database from the SCA Heraldry site, or one of its mirrors.
