This series of Web pages is intended to provide tutorials and examples of using the arcticPigs 3D browser plugin in conjunction with the scripting capabailites of JavaScript.
At the moment, the examples can only be viewed with Internet Explorer for Windows. If a model of a cannon loads to the right of this paragraph, you'll have no problem viewing the examples. This page causes Internet Explorer to retrieve the most recent version of the plugin from arcticPigs' Web site. Subsequent pages will not perform the version check, so they should load more quickly.
What is scripting good for? It can be used to create interactive animations, or even games, using arcticPigs. Models, actions and choreographies can all be put together into predefined animations (using Hash's Animation Master 3D software), but JavaScript can be used to alter preexisting animations, build animations "on the fly", and react to user input.
